Micro-credential Overview
Is é aidhm an mhodúil seo mic léinn a chumasú sna scileanna feidhmeacha a bhaineann le haistriúchán téacsanna ó Bhéarla go Gaeilge, mar aon le léargas ginearálta a thabhairt dóibh ar ghnéithe de ghramadach agus de chomhréir na Gaeilge. Díreofar ar chineálacha faoi leith téacsanna (seachas téacsanna liteartha) a bhíonn á n-aistriú ag aistritheoirí gairmiúla agus cíorfar na háiseanna atá ar fáil d’aistritheoirí le cabhrú leo agus iad i mbun oibre. Déanfar anailís ar straitéisí an aistriúcháin agus ar na bealaí chun déileáil le dúshláin ar leith a thagann chun cinn. Ar na téamaí is mó a phléifear sa mhodúl seo, tá na dúshláin a bhaineann le buntéacsanna ó thaobh brí agus céille de, coibhéis shásúil sa spriocthéacs, agus na dúshláin a bhaineann leis an nGaeilge mar sprioctheanga aistriúcháin.

The mode of study for this Micro-credential is Blended Learning (in-person and online). Assessment will be carried out on a continuous basis.

From the 1st April you can apply for any University of Galway Micro-credential through our Online Application Portal.
When completing your application please make sure to apply under CPC 17 (Arts and Social Science Postgrad) in the drop-down menu after selecting Standalone Module- Continuing Professional Development.
