Micro-credential Overview

Much of the information is now consumed through various digital outlets, requiring young people to navigate and appraise digital sources of information. While young people are considered ‘digital natives’ there are still gaps in knowledge on how to assess the quality and reliability of information and on how to decide which sources are trustworthy. This micro-credential will also introduces the concept of artificial intelligence (AI), and discuss the challenges and opportunities it brings. Lastly, the module will address e-health literacy in young people.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must be over 21 years of age.
    A Level 8 undergraduate, or Level 7 qualification with 3 years experience is required.
  • An interest in e-health literacy in young people.
  • Applications can be considered using Recognition of Prior Learning.
