Developments Dates and Milestones

University of Galway secured a renewed Bronze Athena SWAN Award in September 2021, in recognition of the University’s continued progression on gender equality. The application is available to view here: Athena SWAN Institutional Bronze Application

University of Galway now has 9 Bronze departmental awards and one Silver departmental award, with the School of Engineering being the first Engineering School in the Republic of Ireland to achieve such a standard.
