SFI Research Leader Recruitment Programmes
University of Galway, in partnership with Science Foundation Ireland, Ireland’s national foundation for investment in science and engineering research, is seeking to recruit research leaders in targeted areas aligned to University of Galway’s Strategy (2020-2025), which will enhance University of Galway’s and Ireland’s reputation as a global leader in scientific and engineering research, discovery and innovation. The appointment of the Research Leader is dependent on success within the SFI Research Professorship Programme or the SFI President of Ireland Future Research Leaders Programme. These flagship recruitment programmes are open to research leaders of international standing, at various career stages, in the following University of Galway priority thematic areas:

• Enriching creativity and culture
• Improving health and wellbeing
• Realising potential through data and enabling technologies
