Biography

Maggie O'Neill is a postdoctoral researcher and clinic coordinator with the Tax Clinic in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics. Maggie was previously a postdoctoral researcher on projects centred on engagement in virtual environments for older people (Virtual EngAge), Service Involvement and Lived Experience in health and social care services, the Dynamics of Accumulated Inequalities for Seniors in Employment (DAISIE), and the power of cultural representations to inform lived experiences of ageing (MascAge & Restorying Ageing). She previously held teaching roles in the University of Limerick and Dublin Business School. Maggie holds a PhD in English and an MA in Culture, Religion & Society in Modern Ireland from Maynooth University, a Level 9 Specialist Diploma in Teaching, Learning & Scholarship in Higher Education from the University of Limerick, and a BA in English & Sociology from UCD.
