Eleanor Cross
Erasmus Trainee
Eleanor is an Erasmus+ trainee at NUI Galway, where she annotates deep-sea videos for the SFI project "Exploiting and conserving deep-sea genetic resources". Eleanor is an undergrad at Plymouth University and, after her year placement at NUI Galway, she will return to Plymouth to complete her undergraduate degree. She plans to use her experience at NUI Galway for her dissertation project, which will explore the applications of machine learning to the annotation of deep-sea ROV footage.
