Programme Manager

Siobhán Gaughan completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Galway and gained extensive technical experience in industry and research. After graduating in 2005 with a PhD from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Siobhán moved back to University of Galway to take up a role initially as an SFI-funded Laboratory Manager, managing a busy research laboratory for the Regenerative Medicine Institute (REMEDI). She then worked as a Project Manager on a number of EU-funded (FP7, H2020 & Interreg) projects which were led and co-ordinated by REMEDI investigators. In July 2020, Siobhán secured a position with Prof John P. Dalton as a Programme Manager with the Molecular Parasitology research group. In August 2023, Siobhán obtained a position as the School Manager with the School of Natural Sciences at University of Galway
