Navdeep Sharma |   MSc. Computer Science (Data Analytics)

My decision to pursue MSc. Computer Science (Data Analytics) at NUIG is underscored by meaningful contributions and research in the area of Data Science. Comprehensive curriculum for data sciences and global exposure with regular visits of potential employers at university provides great opportunity. NUIG works very closely with research institute, Insight Centre for Data Analytics which proves to provide very good exposure for students interested in research work. After working for 3 years in Industry, I wasn’t sure that how I am going to fit myself into academic environment but the friendly and supportive behavior of faculties, staffs and peers made things easy. University facilitates with very resource rich library and highly equipped computer labs without any time restriction, which is one of the best part of studying at NUIG. Apart from studies, there are always some extra activities happening at the university, organized by over 100 active societies and clubs. Galway is a small, safe and indeed a very beautiful city with friendly people all around."
