NUI Galway SDG Jam
University of Galway SDG Jam
The University of Galway Galway Student Volunteering Programme ALIVE working in collaboration with James Hardiman Library, Launchpad, CUSP and the non-profit organisation the Ladder hosted the Global Goals Jam in September 2019 and August 2020. The Global Goals Jam is an international event where creative teams work together on local challenges related to the SDGs. The 2019 theme focused on water, waste and climate change.
The 2020 JAM event, focused on public health and education for all. The event is open to people from all backgrounds Alumni, current students, staff and members of the public and is organised on an annual basis to generate awareness of the UN SDGs among the campus community.
