Congrats to Dr Eimear Heaslip and Dr Frances Fahy on their latest article, Developing Transdisciplinary Approaches to Community Energy Transitions: An Island Case Study. Focusing on Eimear's PhD field site location of Inis Oirr, the smallest of the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland, the paper discusses the design, development and implementation of a transdisciplinary methodological framework for community energy planning which combines conventional energy engineering techniques with in-depth qualitative approaches.
