Biography

Raja's research interests are in entrepreneurial cognition, founder decision-making, and early-stage venture legitimation in technology entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship contexts. Recently, he has been pursuing research on cofounder relationships in entrepreneurial teams and is exploring the use of socio-cognitive skills such as perspective-taking and empathy by entrepreneurs during opportunity development. He has taught entrepreneurship, strategic management, creativity and innovation for undergraduates and graduates in the US, the Netherlands and India. Raja serves on the editorial review board of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, the Mentorship Committee of AOM-ENT Division, and the Systems Thinking Learning work-group of the non-profit Catalyst2030.
