Transferring to 2nd or 3rd Year of Courses for Irish, UK and EU Applicants 

Applications for transfers are considered for admission into the 2nd or 3rd year of our undergraduate programmes, with the exception of Medicine. Transfer applications are normally considered from students who have completed a course at level 6 or level 7 in an Institute of Technology or completed year one of a degree in another university and wish to transfer to year 2 or 3 of a similar course at University of Galway.
