Dr Camile Farah is a highly accomplished executive, clinician, researcher and academic with 25 years of experience in the healthcare, biotech and medical research sectors. He is currently the CEO and MD of Optiscan Imaging Ltd (ASX: OIL), a Melbourne-based global leader in the development and commercialisation of endomicroscopic imaging technologies for medical, translational and research applications, enabling high-resolution "optical biopsy". He has a proven track record in organisational leadership and excellence in the healthcare industry, as well as expertise in building successful businesses.

Camile is a dual-trained oral medicine specialist and oral & maxillofacial pathologist with multiple public and private appointments. He is a leading international figure in oral cancer and precancerous pathology based on his clinical and research expertise, having published 250 clinical and scientific articles and a bestselling textbook. He is independently ranked #1 Australian and top ten international expert in these domains by expertscape.com. Dr Camile has held numerous leadership roles in healthcare and medical research, most recently as Dean and Chief Executive at the University of Western Australia. He holds an Adjunct Professorship at CQ University and an Honorary Professorial Research Fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. In addition to managing his consulting business, Camile is Executive Director of the Australian Centre for Oral Oncology Research & Education, undertaking cutting-edge research in head and neck oncology. Camile has a global network of international collaborations. She has been involved in research and development, clinical implementation, and testing many optical imaging technologies, including optical fluorescence imaging, narrow band imaging, optical coherence tomography, and confocal laser endomicroscopy.
