Tá feidhmeanna ar leith ag comhlachtaí cinnteoireachta ar fud na hOllscoile mar atá Foireann Bainistíochta na hOllscoile, an Chomhairle Acadúil agus Údarás na hOllscoile i mbainistíocht agus i rialachas na hOllscoile.
University-wide decision-making bodies such as the University Management Team, the Academic Council and the Governing Authority each have distinct functions in the management and governance of the University.
Good governance enables us to deliver effectively on our mission of excellence in education and research, as well as to carry out our responsibilities to stakeholders. These responsibilities include accountability to the Government and other organisations for the funding made available to enable our work. Good governance is also important for the University’s reputation, to ensure we can provide assurance regarding compliance with legislation and codes of governance and to demonstrate our adherence to ethical standards of good practice.
