A key feature of the Centre for Creative Technologies is engagement with creative communities. We do this by hosting artist residencies for those outside the University of Galway, and by partnering with organisations who have well established links with these communities to facilitate capacity building.

This open and collaborative approach enables us to work towards our objectives of:

  • Fostering collaborations and partnerships across academic institutions, industry, and society.
  • Cultivating an environment that stimulates exploration and innovation at the intersection of creativity and technology.
  • Empowering individuals through educational programs that merge artistic expression with technological advancements.
  • Addressing pressing societal issues through creative and technological solutions.
