Fee Payment Options

To pay online 

You can access the Student Payment Gateway HERE.

Fees can be paid in two instalments, the first 50% by the 31st of October and the balance by the 31st of January.

See details HERE if you experience issues accessing the fee payment gateway.  The "Pay Fees" link appears at the top right of the "Courses" tab within your account (once you log in).

Student fee instalment plan 

Under a Student Fees Instalment Plan students can make equal instalment payments from September 2022 to May 2023. Students must reapply for a Fees Instalment Plan each Academic Year.

New entrant international students (international students in their first year) have the option to pay their fees in two instalments only and so may not avail of an instalment plan.

You cannot apply for instalments for the student levy element of the fee (e.g. if you are SUSI funded and only have to pay the €140 student levy, this must be paid in full by the 31st of October).

An email will be sent to the applicants' campus email address acknowledging the agreed Student Fees Instalment Plan (see schedule below).

Failure to adhere to an agreed instalment plan will result in termination of the Student Fees Instalment Plan and the application of standard fees sanctions. For further information please see our FAQs at http://www.nuigalway.ie/student-fees/faqs/

All instalment payments can be made securely on-line here . Please note that a maximum payment per transaction of €1,500.00 may apply with Debit Cards.

*It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all fees are paid prior to the release of examination results. Students with outstanding fees will not be able to access their examination results, progress to the next year of study or confer.

Please note that the Fees Office will continue to send statements of account and fee payment reminders whilst you are adhering to the Student Fees Instalment Plan.
