Limerick
Limerick is a major city in the Republic of Ireland, set in Munster province in the south of the country. Its compact old town is known for the medieval-era St. Mary’s Cathedral and St. John’s square, which is lined with Georgian townhouses. Standing along the River Shannon, the 13th-century King John’s Castle is one of the city’s most recognisable sites.
Limerick city is is the largest city within commuting distance to Shannon College with plenty of things to do.
Shannon
Situated on the mighty River Shannon, the town of Shannon is the second largest in Clare, and it's best-known for its International Airport.
Shannon College is located on the grounds of Shannon International Airport, making Shannon town the closest commute to the college.
Bunratty
Bunratty is one of Ireland's best-known tourist hubs and is situated 11km from Shannon International airport and Shannon College of Hotel Management. It is home to what is considered to be the most complete and authentic castle in Ireland - Bunratty castle.
Bunratty village is vibrant and historic, and is where our college accommodation is situated. Many students attending Shannon College choose to live in this town, particularly in year 1.

Galway
Home to The University of Galway. Shannon College is a satellite campus of the University and is located approximately 1 hour from Galway city.
Galway is one of the brightest and most intriguing jewels of the West of Ireland. It marks the halfway point on the Wild Atlantic Way and is the only city on the entire 2500km route. The city is wild and bohemian, and at the same time full of culture, artistry, exceptional food and music.
