The Apprentice Programme, now in its 12th year, offers frequent mentoring sessions with ConTempo Quartet and performing opportunities to emerging, talented performing groups. This year, the ConTempo Quartet has been working with the Amoroso String Quartet and Cello and Piano duo, Davide Forti and Francesca De Nardi. On Sunday, the apprentice ensembles will showcase the results of their work with ConTempo over the course of the 9 month programme. Amoroso will perform Beethoven’s String Quartet in D Major Op 18. No. 3, while Davide and Francesca will present Prokofiev’s Sonata in C Major Op. 119 for cello and piano and Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango.
