A Year of Change

In December 2019, Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh launched the University’s Strategic Plan 2020–2025, ‘Shared Vision, Shaped by Values’ at the outset of what was to become a challenging period for third-level education, shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic. Spin Out Success Stories 2022

The creation of companies whose purpose is to turn research into societal impact is one of the core activities of the Innovation Office at University of Galway. These companies create new jobs and wealth in the region, and bring new innovations, products and services to the market.
