Rannsachadh na Gàidhlig Glaschu 2026
Dr. Cassie Smith-Christmas delivered a plenary address entitled 'Embodying Saibhreas: Intergenerational Language Transmission in the Outer Hebrides and the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht' at the Rannsachadh na Gàidhlig conference at the University of Glasgow in July. Rannsachadh na Gàidhlig is a biennial interdisciplinary conference focused Scottish Gaelic language and culture, and this year's conference of over 100 delegates was a particularly joyous gathering, as it was the first time the conference has been held in-person since Covid.
