Field class on Grattan Beach

Geography second year students did a field class on Grattan Beach, Galway city with Dr Eugene Farrell. The students assessed the blue flag criteria for the beach; the impact of dune restoration as a nature-based solution; and potential adaptation strategies to manage the area in response to climate change pressures.
