Last Saturday, GGA summer fieldtrip, day 1, explored complex #geology of #Mayo trough (Ordovician sandstones mudstones ignimbrites) led by Dr Brian McConnell @geolsurvie.bsky.social. The group explored Leenane to Louisburgh via Doo Lough, & then coastal area west of Mweelrea. Summer has finally arrived !!!
