Maurice Sadlier from World Vision Ireland gave a talk in Geography on February 23 organised by Dr Una Murray through the Centre for International Development Innovation (CIDI) at the Ryan Institute. Maurice outlined the work of World Vision, highlighting the organisation’s global focus, the contexts in which it operates, and its core principles and approaches. A particular emphasis was placed on World Vision’s support for youth advocacy on climate action, showcasing how they support young people to engage with climate policy and practice.
World Vision has previously collaborated with MIDP students on research projects, including work that culminated in a book chapter on youth engagement in climate action
