Dr. Deirdre Byrnes participated in the 18th IDT (Internationale Deutschlehrer:innen Tagung - International Conference of German Teachers) which took place in the beautiful city of Lübeck from July 28th to August 1st. The theme of this year's IDT was diversity with German: "Vielfalt wagen - mit Deutsch". Deirdre's presentation on podcasting was part of the panel "(Innovative) Konzepte des Deutschlernens an Hochschulen weltweit" which showcased innovative approaches to language learning at third-level institutions world-wide.
