Exploring Sound with Programmable Contact Microphones

A 3-hour hands-on workshop introducing the Soniphorm Smart Contact Mic — a small programmable PCB that turns everyday surfaces and objects into instruments and recording devices. We'll explore how contact mics reveal hidden sounds in the world around us, work with the SCM to capture, shape and respond to vibration, and build short experimental pieces from what we find. No prior experience with electronics or sound design needed.
Smart Contact Mics will be provided for the duration of the workshop. Participants should bring a laptop with the Chrome browser (or an Android phone) and wired headphones. Places are limited.
