Organising Your Own Reunion? How Can We Help?

Thank you for your interest in organising a reunion at the University of Galway. We’re here to support you in planning a meaningful event. Your efforts not only bring classmates together but also contribute to the University’s continued growth.

The Importance of Reunions
Each year, alumni gather to mark milestone anniversaries and revisit their university experiences. We host a 50th Reunion each year, alongside a joint 20th, 30th, and 40th Anniversary event every September. In July, during the Arts Festival, we plan to introduce a 10th Anniversary celebration. If you’d like to organise a separate event for your class, we’re here to support you.

Event Coordination
Successful reunions require early planning and committed volunteers. We can help by sharing reunion details with your class via email and promoting the event on social media. Simply provide us with the necessary details, and we will manage the communication.

Campus & Archives Tours
Complimentary guided tours of the campus and archives, led by a student ambassador, are available. Our office can arrange these directly on your behalf. Further details are available University of Galway Campus Tours - University of Galway.

Venue
For groups interested in a light lunch on campus, options include the Aula Maxima, which accommodates up to 96 people for a sit-down meal or up to 150 for a theatre-style setup, subject to availability. Another option is the Corrib Room in the Sult College Bar for up to 100 guests on weekdays, or the Sult College Bar for up to 250 on Saturdays.
