The film follows Icelandic group Hatari during their controversial participation in Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv. Choosing not to boycott, they instead used the global stage to challenge political narratives—raising complex questions about artistic responsibility, protest, and complicity.
Since then, their stance has evolved, making the film both a snapshot of a pivotal moment and a starting point for broader debate.
Award-winning and critically praised as “a brilliant piece of journalism… an outstanding debut”, the film offers no easy answers.
We warmly welcome all students, staff, and members of the public to attend this timely and thought-provoking event.
