Dr Eugene Farrell, Dr Gordon Bromley and Prof Kat Fitzsimmons (Monash University, Australia) co-led a week long fieldtrip to Co Kerry with the MSc class ('Coastal and Marine Environments') to collect buried dune sediment samples to determine the age of coastal dunes (using Optically Stimulated Luminescence dating techniques) at multiple sites in Co Kerry. The class also worked with Dr Liam Carr to facilitate the MSP Challenge Game with the local coastal community in Maharees, Co Kerry. Well done everyone for the tremendous work!
