Dr. Deirdre Byrnes presented at the CEUROS (Centre for European Studies) conference "Cultural Memory - Memory Culture(s): Europe's Past, Present and Future" which took place at the University of Limerick from 9th to 11th October 2025. Deirdre's paper "A Space of Agency: Memory Practices and Eyewitness Testimony at the Berlin-Hohenschönhausen Memorial" was part of a panel that explored Berlin museums and memorials as sites of memory.
