Research Interests: Ecocriticism, Gender Studies, German poetry of the early 20th century, German literature from 1880 to 1945.

Research Interests: GDR literature, contemporary women writers in German-language literature, generational memory transmission, representation of the Law and the legal system in literature.

Research Interests: Multilingualism and language developments in Switzerland and Ireland as well as GDR literature, Holocaust literature and trauma and memory studies.

Research Interests: Modern and contemporary literature and in the area of environmental humanities, including animal studies, ideas of ecological aesthetics, and postcolonial responses to the climate and biodiversity crises.
