Institute Operations Team

The Operations Team, led by the Director of Operations, provides comprehensive pre‑award and post‑award support to all Institute members, ensuring a smooth and efficient research lifecycle. The team oversees the Institute Members Database, manages internal communications, coordinates events, and supports all core administrative functions of the Institute.
By delivering proactive guidance, streamlined processes, and responsive support, the Operations Team enables researchers and members to focus on their work while ensuring the Institute runs effectively and strategically.

Technical and Professional Team

The Technical Team, led by William (Liam) Brennan, is responsible for the Institute’s facilities, space management, and day‑to‑day operational infrastructure. Their work includes maintenance, equipment support, management of gases and specialist systems, induction processes, and oversight of health & safety across the Institute.
By maintaining a safe, functional, and well‑equipped environment, the Technical Team ensures that all researchers and staff have the physical resources and support they need to carry out their work efficiently and safely.
