Biography

I am a Lecturer Above the Bar in Business Information Systems and a member of Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software.

My research investigates the changing nature of work in digital era, on topics such as digital nomadism, videoconferencing fatigue, and the digital work practices of researchers and scientists.

My teaching seeks to empower students with a deeper understanding of the digital technologies that drive the modern economy, such understanding not being limited to technical knowledge but also encompassing social and sociotechnical insights.

Prior to joining the University of Galway, I served as Lecturer at the University of Sydney and Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
