Teaching Interests

My main research-led teaching interests are in Latin American, particularly Chilean, narrative and film, and also comparative literature and culture, particularly the crime genre. I coordinate the Final Year BA Spanish and Final Year of Global Languages. On the BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies, I teach first year Introduction to Latin America, second year Spanish Language, Modern Spanish-Language Drama, and Final Year Hispanic Crime Narrative. In the Global Languages programme, I teach on Memory, Memorialisation and Representations of Conflict. I teach on the International Contemporary Literature and Media MA on the module Contemporary Literary Genres.
