Biography

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Statistical Sciences, Functional Longitudinal Data Analysis, at the University of Galway, Ireland, on the HealIAsyst project, DTIF Grant, under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Simpkin. My previous position was in Statistical Neural Networks within the Confirm Smart Manufacturing Research Centre at the University of Limerick. I finished my Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree in Statistics from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran, and a bachelor¿s degree in Statistics. I defended my Ph.D. and M.Sc. thesis with excellent grades. I achieved rank 2 / 1130 in the national university entrance exam in Statistics Ph.D. and 10 / 3167 in the national university entrance exam in Statistics M.Sc.
I have over 10 years of experience in lecturing a diverse array of statistical content, e. g. in modules: Inferential statistics, applied statistics, time series, biostatistics, probability, statistical calculations, multivariate methods, statistical software, etc. These modules have been at both undergraduate and postgraduate (MSc and PhD) levels for Students with different background like: statistics, mathematics, engineering, sports science, psychology, Economics, etc. I have a strong knowledge and ability in applied Statistics, computational statistics, latent variable models, and statistical modelling. I have published scientific papers in authentic journals in my research interests.
