Work Placement at University of Galway
Work placement gives you real-world work experience, boosts your CV, and helps you develop valuable skills for your future career. 

Placements and your course:

• All Bachelor of Engineering courses involve an Irish industry placement of (duration)
• BSc Computer Science (Irish industry, 8 months)
• BSc Biotechnology (3-7 months, Irish industry or continental EU
• research lab)
• BSc Biopharmaceutical Chemistry (3-7 months, Irish industry)
• BSc Environmental Health and Safety (7 months)

Field Trips and your course:

• BSc Environmental Science
• BSc Marine Science
• BSc Earth and Ocean Science
• BSc Zoology (via GY301)
• BSc Botany and Plant Science (via GY301)
• BSc Microbiology (via GY301)

Study Abroad
This experience allows you to broaden your horizons, develop independence, and build a global network—all while earning credits toward your degree etc....
