What Our Students Say

Blatnaid

Blatnaid Gallagher |   Founder - The Galway Wool Co-op

The outcomes of the course have been transformative for both my career and farm enterprise. Following my participation in the Ag Innovate Springboard+ course, I established a National Wool Co-op and became an Irish Ambassador for the FLIARA project. I have since taken on additional ambassadorial roles with Farming for Nature and Food on the Edge. I regularly contribute to panel discussions on women in agriculture in Ireland and across Europe, and I speak at national and international events on wool, farm diversification, and biodiversity. My farm work has been formally recognised, with shortlisting for the Teagasc Sustainable Enterprise Awards and the Agri Insider Rural Diversification Awards. In 2026, I was invited to speak before the Oireachtas Agriculture Committee. All of these achievements stem directly from my application to and participation in the Ag Innovate Springboard+ course.

Aleksei Kornilov |   Senior Software Engineering Manager - Dell Technologies

With ongoing changes in the industry and at work, I wanted to invest in something that keeps me relevant and opens new options. The course provides a structured way to move into AI: not just concepts, but practical work, deadlines, and feedback that help you turn interest into real competence. I am becoming more confident discussing AI-related topics at a technical level, and I can already see how this will improve the way I make engineering decisions and communicate with technical stakeholders. On a very personal level, the course also helped me return to hands-on work. I am coding regularly again, rebuilding the “engineering muscle” that you only get through practice, and it feels rewarding. My goal is to finish the course with strong practical skills and use that foundation to move towards a new career direction, ideally into roles closer to AI-enabled engineering work as I near the end of the course.
