Chief Exec of the Policing Speaks to Galway’s Criminology Cluster

Head of the newly established Policing, Community and Safety Authority, Helen Hall, came to Galway to speak with researchers and students in the Criminology, Criminal Justice and Human Rights cluster. The group included practitioners, academics and students from the BCL in Criminology and the LLM in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Human Rights. Introducing the new Authority, Hall spoke about her work in police oversight, focusing on issues around public order, 999 calls and other key questions. The event was organised by Dr Illan Wall, and formed part of the activity of the Crime, Punishment and Rights research cluster in the School of Law.
