Dr. Mulgrew contributes to expert consultation on Draft Guiding Principles on the Protection of Dead Persons

Dr. Róisín Mulgrew was invited by the UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial summary or arbitrary executions, Dr. Morris Tidball-Binz, to participate in a closed expert meeting on Draft Principles on the Protection of Dead Persons.

The meeting, supported by the Pozen Family Centre for Human Rights and the Global Human Rights Clinic at the University of Chicago, took place on 9 and 10 April in Paris.

In addition to participation in the event, Dr. Mulgrew (lead of the Crime, Punishment and Rights Cluster) contributed to the development of the principles with a submission with observations and recommendations on the text of the Draft Guiding Principles on the Protection of the Dead.
