Dr. Oonagh Meade is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Honorary Research Lecturer working within the Health Behaviour Change Research Group at the School of Psychology at NUI Galway.

Oonagh is currently working on a Health Research Board Applied Partnership Award led by Professor Molly Byrne. This research aims to enhance the implementation of the Health Service Executive Making Every Contact Count chronic disease prevention programme. Oonagh is a Patient and Public Involvement Catalyst at University of Galway where she works to support staff and students to embed patient and public involvement in research. Oonagh’s research interests are in health psychology, particularly the psychosocial impact of living with long-term conditions, the experiences of family members and carers, and the development and evaluation of behaviour change interventions.
