Dr Sarah Cotterill is a senior researcher at the School of Health Sciences, University of Manchester, UK.

Sarah is a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Biostatistics. She will sit on the the Executive Programme Advisory Board and will also provide specific advice in relation to PhD project 1, focusing on implementation of the national diabetes prevention programme. In addition she will facilitate an international placement at the University of Manchester for the doctoral trainee on project 1 to provide exposure to the implementation and embedded evaluation of a relatively new diabetes prevention programme in the UK.  This partnership will ensure that the doctoral research is internationally relevant and aligned with measurements and outcomes used in other juristictions to enable international comparison.  Sarah's expertise in behaviour change at scale will be invaluable in the development of an implementation strategy to support the rollout of a national programme.  Across the CDP-CDP this partnership will provide students and the programme team with access to in-depth knowledge on the evaluation of health and public policy interventions.
