Chinese Language & Cultural Beginners Course

To promote Irish/Chinese cultural communication, the Confucius Institute of Chinese and Regenerative Medicine is introducing an 8-week language and culture course. This course aims to enable students to feel confident in communicating in everyday situations with native Mandarin speakers and to give insights into the Chinese culture and way of life.

Among the main topics covered are greetings/introducing oneself, giving and asking for personal information, talking about work, and daily routine and asking and giving directions.  We will also cover Chinese cultural topics, such as Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese songs, Chinese Tang-dynasty, etiquette and Tai Chi.
