Overview
Sa mhodúl seo, déanfar plé ar stair agus ar fhorás na sochtheangeolaíochta mar réimse léinn. Ó tharla gur mian le haos léinn na sochtheangeolaíochta staidéar a dhéanamh ar an spás idir an teanga agus an tsochaí, pléifear na hiarmhairtí a bhaineann le cúpla pobal teanga a bheith buailte ar a chéile. Mar sin, cíorfar an bunús teoiriciúil a bhaineann le feidhmiú an dátheangachais, an ilteangachais agus na débhéascna i gcineálacha éagsúla pobail chomh maith leis an toradh a bhíonn ar an teagmháil teangacha (Ní Neachtain 2019; Ní Laoire, 2019). Tá sé d’aidhm ag an modúl seo staidéar a dhéanamh ar an teoiric agus ar na príomhchoincheapa a bhaineann leis an tsochtheangeolaíocht mar réimse léinn. Cíorfar na teoiricí sin i gcomhthéacs na Gaeilge agus na Gaeltachta in Éirinn sa lá atá inniu ann.
Entry Requirements
Beidh an modúl seo feiliúnach d’oibrithe pobail agus teanga sna ceantair phleanála teanga a luaitear in Acht na Gaeltachta.
