The Network was launched in February 2024 in the Hardiman Building in an event that had “Belonging” as its theme. The lunch of the network is under the 2023-2024 EDI Project Fund. It was envisaged as a community where neurodivergent staff and PhD researchers could come together to co-create a space for thriving.
The community held a think-in in June 2024 to discuss a shared vision for the network. A steering committee was formed in October 2024 to draw up the Terms of Reference for the network and present them at the first AGM, held in December 2024. At that AGM, all Steering Committee members were elected to the Executive Committee of the Network.
