PhD Scholarship
The J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics is looking for talented, creative and highly qualified individuals to work under the supervision of an academic faculty member and become part of the School’s vibrant research community. Our PhD programme has a strong track record in terms of the research student experience and the opportunities afforded to, and the achievements of, our PhD graduates. The programme combines scholarly theory-building with a strong applied focus. Further details available here.
The Scholarship will cover an annual stipend of €16,000 and payment of PhD fees of €5250 per annum (for a maximum of 4 years), subject to satisfactory performance. The successful PhD student will be provided with a dedicated desk and computer and will have the opportunity to participate in research seminars, workshops and avail of research supports through their doctoral programme.
Collaborator
We welcome proposals to collaborate on research and related initiatives from other research institutions, academic and industry partners, as well as ageing stakeholder organisations and public agencies.
This may include:
- Direct commissioned research
- Collaboration on funding proposals/applications
- Proposals for comparative and secondary analysis of existing data
