Medicine
Second Year Pharmacology for Medicine & Health Science Students
- Pharmacology is first taught to medical and health science students in the second year.
- The Introduction to Pharmacology module in semester 1 introduces students to basic concepts of how drugs work and interact with our bodies as well as how new drugs are designed and developed.
- The Drugs and Disease module in semester 2 deals with specific diseases/disorders and the drugs used to treat them.
Semester 1:
- Introduction to Pharmacology (MD214 - 5 ECTS)

- Drugs & Disease (MD204 - 5 ECTS)
