Support for our research students

The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a supportive environment for our postgraduate research students.

A primary supervisor will provide support throughout your programme, and will be responsible for the overall management of your training and research project. All supervisors have a PhD and are active scholars and researchers with a good record of achievement and publication.

All postgraduate research students and their supervisor have access to the Graduate Research Committee. The Committee ensures quality of research, compliance with best practice, offers mediation if required, as well as support and advice to the student and supervisor.

A range of support services are also available through the Graduate Studies Office, including an Orientation, Skills and Training Resources and networking opportunities through the Postgraduate Research Society.
