Subsidised Open Day Buses

We are pleased to offer subsidised bus services to make attending our Open Days easier for prospective students and families travel affordably to the Open Day. All subsidised buses will run on Saturday, 3rd October only. All buses are €5 return, and advance booking is required to secure a seat.

*All buses will drop passengers at Galway Cathedral and collect passengers from Galway Cathedral at 3:00pm. The Cathedral is just a 5 minute walk from our Open Day check-in desks, with Student Ambassadors along the route to assist.

1. Carlow to University of Galway

• Route: Carlow Coach Park departing at 6.00am → University of Galway and return

2. Cavan to University of Galway

• Route: Cavan  Texaco Dublin Road departing at 5.45am → University of Galway and return

3. Letterkenny, Donegal to University of Galway

• Bus Provider: Bus Feda
• Route: Departing Donegal Town at 7.10am, stopping in Bally Shannon at 7.20am and then again in Bundoran at 7.30am → University of Galway and return.

4. Kilkenny to University of Galway
