On November 5, the Workshop “Gender and Intersectionality in Whistleblowing” was held, co-led by the University of Galway and Transparency International.

The session explored key challenges and opportunities in integrating gender and intersectional perspectives into whistleblowing protection systems, focusing on strengthening organizational culture, support services, and data collection practices related to public integrity and accountability.

The workshop brought together researchers, institutional representatives, and civil society actors working on protection, equality, and transparency policies — creating a collaborative space for learning, dialogue, and the development of policy recommendations.
