Postgraduate Studies through Research
The Plant and AgriBioscience postgraduate studies can be explored through research by MSc or Plant & AgriBiosciences (Structured PhD).
The faculty members conduct an extensive range of research and innovation activities and projects, ranging from fundamental research on genetics and epigenetics, to applied interdisciplinary research on agriculture and food systems to improve sustainable development outcomes, particularly with developing country partners.
Activities have spanned crop biotechnology, genetics, epigenetics, agricultural research (plants, livestock, microbiomes, viruses), genetic resources, agrobiodiversity, health and nutrition, disease diagnostics, climate science, geoinformatics, remote sensing, rural energy access, social and participatory sciences, entrepreneurship & innovation, policies and institutions, education/training and sustainable development.

How to apply
To undertake a Postgraduate degree by research in Plant & AgriBiosciences, students should contact a potential supervisor, arrange matters with him/ her and then apply through the Postgraduate Applications Centre. Details of the faculty members and their research interests are given here and their research groups here.
Postgraduate Taught programmes
