Information for Professional Masters of Education Candidates
Online Application Offers
Important: please print out and complete all forms on this website; it is also recommended that you print out and retain other important documents on this page also, for your information.
Congratulations, you have been made an offer to the Professional Masters of Education programme at University of Galway, via the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) online application system.
When you are presented with an online offer in PAC you are also presented with the Terms & Conditions (T&C) that are associated with that offer. You must accept these Terms and Conditions in order to accept the offer. The PDF link, Conditions of Offer, mentioned within these T&C can also be downloaded here.
In order to accept this offer you must complete the instructions under the following categories:
(1) Postgraduate Applications Centre,
(2) Postgraduate Admissions Office, and
(3) School of Education Forms, and return them to the relevant addresses indicated below.
(1) Postgraduate Applications Centre
- UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Please upload a copy of your final year exam transcripts by Friday, 12th July, 2024 to:
Your PAC account
- All Non-NUI Students to upload to PAC application by Friday, 13th May, 2024
Passport sized photograph; Copy of your Birth Certificate or Passport, more details below.
You will not be permitted to register as a student for the Professional Masters of Education without submission of these results. |
(2) Postgraduate Admissions Office
You will be emailed a Garda Clearance Form along with instructions on how to complete this form by late-July, 2024. It is imperative that you fill out this particular form and upload it to the Garda Vetting App.
Failure to complete your Garda Vetting Application on time may impact on your ability to participate on the placement element of your programme.
PHOTOGRAPH REQUIRED (For NUIG I.D. card)
Non-University of Galway students and NUIG students who attended pre-2001 must also submit a passport-type photograph, as this is required for your I.D. card. If you haven’t already uploaded a photo electronically as part of the PAC application process, please do so immediately. You can do this within PAC by logging into your PAC account, and going to the My Profile section, and then selecting “ Upload Profile Photograph” option.
(3) School of Education
: download and complete, return by Friday, 9th August, 2024, to email address below.
